We have had the pleasure of looking after an incredibly beautiful Rhinoceros Iguana for the last few weeks at Central Coast Zoo. This handsome fella will be staying with us for the Christmas Holiday period for a short holiday from another zoo.

Rhinoceros Iguanas originate from two Caribbean Islands of Central America - Haiti and the Dominican Republic. They are a threatened species and are Endangered in the wild for many reasons including habitat destruction from urban development, agriculture and mining and also from invasive species.

We are excited to announce we will be creating a VIP exotic reptile encounter for the Christmas Holiday Period each day where you can get up close and personal with some of our amazing exotic reptiles like our Alligators, Iguanas, Tortoises and Snakes!!
